About Us

The New Media Institute of Westchester was founded in 2008. The original mission was to support the local community by providing design and implementation capabilities, undertaking New Media research, and sponsoring educational conferences. Since that time client demands and requirements have created a change in the mission, and a new paradigm has evolved.

Today our guiding ethos is to find ways to combine the technology of new media with traditional craftsmanship and design applications. We are motivated by the synergy that comes when these two seemingly divergent realms of creativity come together to take the form of a promotional or sales incentive piece, internet content, a video wall, or anything else that can be imagined.

William Kuehsel is the Managing Partner of NMIW. Previously he was a vice president of Merrill Lynch capital and retail markets, a corporate director of the Bendix Corporation with responsibilities for planning and consulting, a principal at John Diebold & Associates, and a senior manager at Deloitte Haskins & Sells, management advisory services. As an independent consultant to the Fortune 500, and as a member of the above firms, he has extensive experience advising senior management in using technology to gain a competitive business advantage. His client list includes American Express, Chase, Bell Atlantic, Bank of Boston, Robert Bosch, Joseph E. Seagrams, Ashland Oil, Occidental Petroleum, Hambros Bank, American Airlines, MCA and IBM.

Frank Famularo is the Creative Director for NMIW. For over 20 years Frank has worked as a design and photography consultant. His client list includes Advertising Age Magazine, Barnes & Noble, Business Marketing Magazine, Creativity Magazine, Decca Records, Deutche Gramophon Records, Forbes Magazine, Giants Stadium, Home Theater Magazine, Jive Records, LaFace Records, Starbucks Entertainment and Steinway & Sons.
