RESEARCH We provide design, branding, product development, and consulting services to help clients understand and capitalize on New Media technology. We assist clients in identifying and implementing value-added New Media products and the use of New Media to gain a competitive edge. During the course of our work, we gain insight and understanding into the penetration of New Media within the business community, its
payoff and forward movement and the attendant management and technical issues. Our research program is a continuing study of the impact of New Media on the business environment. We supplement our understanding gained through other areas of our practice with surveys and working groups. The results of these synergistic efforts are a series of surveys and reports that embrace a broad spectrum of New Media usage, trends and directions for the future. One of our key programs for 2012 will be the Annual Survey and Report on New Media Usage. The survey will gather information from a diverse population to permit us to identify existing New Media programs, assess current program impact on the organization, and to identify plans for future development and expansion of New Media services within the organization. Included within the survey will be both the perspective of the end user of New Media and the providers of New Media services internally and externally. We will analyze the survey results to identify trends and issues relating to New Media usage and practices both in the near and longer term. The results of this effort will be published in a report to be released in late 2012. The report will be management-oriented, and targeted at those individuals who are decision makers in use and acquisition of New Media technology, the developers of New Media applications, and the providers of software in support of New Media application development. Because of the broad scope of New Media, its potential ramifications, and the varying degrees of current penetration, we are seeking assistance in the development of the survey questionnaire. Our goal is to ensure the survey is robust, covers the most salient topics of interest, provides a true baseline of current New Media activity, and educates the reader with insightful action-oriented information.
